“Anniversary Celebration” Unveiling Event Celebrating the Completion of Restoration

Our hotel is currently celebrating its 55th anniversary. To mark this occasion, the restoration project for the “100-Year-Old Piano”—a cherished treasure of our community—has finally reached a major milestone.

One hundred years ago, thanks to donations from the residents of Takeno Town, this piano was shipped from Germany across the sea. It was cherished at the local elementary school and throughout the Takeno community. However, due to the passage of time, it had fallen into a state requiring restoration.

“We want to bring this piano—which has accompanied the children’s singing and witnessed the town’s history—back to life once again.”

Driven by this single-minded determination, our crowdfunding campaign received tremendous support from people across the nation and within our local community. It is thanks to your warm generosity that we were able to successfully complete a full restoration using the exceptional skills of experts. We offer our heartfelt gratitude.

“Revival” to pass on 100 years of memories to the next generation, and the “birth” of a new story

Today, this 100-year-old German-made piano has regained its astonishingly vivid tone. With a spirit of gratitude, we will hold the “2nd Rebirth Festival” on Sunday, April 26, as a celebration for the entire community to honor this moving sound and pass it on to the next generation.

• Venue: Okukinosaki Seaside Hotel, 1st Floor Lobby (Tanjo-no-Ura, Takeno-cho, Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture)
  On the day of the event, we have planned a piano unveiling ceremony, a panel discussion delving into the behind-the-scenes stories of the restoration, and a live piano performance, among other activities♪

A 100-year-old piano has been reborn, brought to life by our passion. Please join us to witness this glorious new beginning.
